Victor De Leon, Vice President, Global Sales

Victor De Leon Joined Clipper in August 2010 as the Vice president of Sales.  Bringing over 16 years of Gas, Steam and Nuclear power generation experience to the company.  

Prior to Clipper, he served, as the Vice president of marketing and operations for Siemens energy Inc., were he led the strategic direction of the marketing and operations divisions of the company. Were he focused on aligning policies/products, financial and development efforts with the company wide strategic initiatives and the needs of the customer.  Under his leadership, two mothballed nuclear power plants were re-commissioned creating a new market for Siemens nuclear.

From 2004 to 2006 he served as the regional vice president of Siemens South America, Mr. De Leon led a team of Sales and Marketing managers in Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela. Their efforts resulted in power plant sales accounting for 80% of the power generated in Peru.  From 2000 to 2004 Mr. De Leon moved into positions of increasing responsibility throughout the company, ranging from director of operating plant sales to director of new unit sales. Increasing Siemens power generation footprint around the globe.

Prior to joining Siemens, Mr. De Leon worked at Westinghouse Electric Inc. in the Purchasing department of the manufacturing division, where he focused on saving money for the company and building supplier relationships.  He also held the position of project manager for the nuclear division where he directed nuclear projects in engineering, manufacturing, supply management and field operations, ensuring that all contracts deliverables were supplied on time and at or below budget.

Mr. De Leon holds an MBA in International Finance from Webster University, a master certificate in project management from George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Central Florida.
