Douglas Pertz - President and CEO

Douglas Pertz joined Clipper Windpower as President and CEO, and an executive member of its Board of Directors in September 2008. Prior to employment with Clipper, he served as the Company's interim Chief Operating Officer while a Partner with One Equity Partners since May 2008. Mr. Pertz has been a member of the board of directors of Nalco Holding Company since 2004. He was Chairman and CEO of IMC Global, Inc. until it merged to form The Mosaic Company; prior to joining IMC Global, Inc. in 1998, Mr. Pertz served as President and CEO of Culligan Water Technologies, Inc. He previously served as Group Executive and Corporate Vice President of Danaher Corporation and held executive positions with Cummins Engine Company and Caterpillar, Inc.

Mr. Pertz previously has served on the Board of Directors of The Mosaic Company, Bowater Incorporated and Compass Minerals International, Inc. He earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
