Christian Andersen,
Vice President, Tower Center of Excellence
Christian Andersen serves as Vice President of Clipper Windpower’s Tower Center of Excellence. Prior to joining Clipper, Mr. Andersen was Vice President of Vestas Americas in charge of tower sourcing for North and South America. Mr. Andersen held a variety of positions while at Vestas, which exposed him to the wind industry’s global supply chain market as well as in-sourced manufacturing of wind turbines. Mr. Andersen has worked in the wind industry for over ten years.
Prior to joining Vestas, Mr. Andersen had a 20-year career in the airline industry working with leading airlines and sub-suppliers and specializing in production management, supply chain management, planning and efficiency improvement. His last role in the airline industry was to serve at the London Heathrow airport as the regional manager for the United Kingdom and Ireland in charge of capacity, cost and process control implementation for GateGourmet.
Mr. Andersen studied at Copenhagen University, Copenhagen Business College and completed a one year senior management development program in Switzerland arranged in cooperation with the University of Bern.
