Installation of eight Liberty® turbines is currently underway in New York State at the UPC Steel Winds project site.
Clipper project activity in January 2007 included the Endeavor Project in Iowa, where construction is well advanced. We have completed the balance-of-plant for 25 machines, the project is fully energized to the grid, and turbine components, including towers, blades, hubs and powertrains are currently arriving on site. In line with crane capacity at the project, six turbine sets are now ex-works, with completion of shipments for the 40-turbine project expected by May, in addition to deliveries to other Clipper customers. Alignment of component deliveries drives the current assembly rate and remains an important risk factor, with production increasing as component inventories even out.
The Company continues to expect production in the first half of 2007 to be lumpy and rising, with a target production of 250 in 2007.
